It's also heavy, so it takes two hands to secure the carrier into the base, then detach it from there.
In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together. This is quite quick when you consider the amount of time is saved by not having to take out each piece. Most of these models have an easy method of attaching and detaching the toddler seat, as well.
